A Turnkey Program

Summit Health provides a turnkey, nationwide onsite immunization and vaccination program that requires minimal effort for our clients. Marketing, scheduling, and implementation are all managed by Summit Health. We conduct our flu and pneumonia vaccine programs each year from September through December. Other immunizations and vaccinations are delivered throughout the year.

To make each immunization program as successful as possible, Summit Health provides the following services:

Immunization Appointments
Separator Bar

Summit Health provides enrollment for health screenings and flu shots using the three methods:

  1. Participants may schedule themselves online using Summit Health’s proprietary, Internet-based appointment system.
  2. Participants may call our toll-free number to schedule themselves.
  3. Participants may sign up through a site coordinator, who schedules their appointments and enters their data onto Summit Health’s Internet-based system.

The power and flexibility of Summit Health’s online appointment system differentiates us from other providers. Our appointment system provides a very high level of participant satisfaction. By matching employees’ appointments to the throughput of the medical team, wait times at events are nearly eliminated. E-mail reminders sent the day before events further reduce no-shows.   Learn More >

Immunization Execution
Separator Bar

Over the years Summit Health has developed a finely-tuned execution system that integrates state-of-the-art information technology systems, training, and quality standards.

Our program manager from the Summit Health local office contacts clients’ site coordinators a week before and a day before each clinic to answer questions and to verify that sites are ready for their immunization clinics.

On the day of the event, our team leader arrives at least 60 minutes prior to the clinic start time to prepare for the event. He or she contacts the site coordinator and proceeds to the location of the event. The team leader confirms the table configuration, and sets up the immunization stations and administrative table. Summit Health staff is equipped with enough supplies to handle 25 percent more participants than projected.

For clinics that require advance appointment scheduling, participants’ names are checked off the appointment list by the clerk as they arrive. Participants who arrive without appointments are accommodated immediately if an opening is available; otherwise, they are allowed to select from available times.

Following check in, participants complete informed consent forms, after which they are directed by the clerk to open immunization stations. The Summit Health staff at each immunization station reviews the informed consent forms to make sure they are completed correctly. The staff also verifies based on information given on the consent form that participants are appropriate candidates for immunization. The staff confirms that participants are ready for their immunization (e.g. no faintness or shortness of breath, all questions answered, and so on).

Once this is done, vaccines are administered and participants are asked to proceed to the waiting room for 15 minutes for observation.   Learn More >
