About Me
Emily Mignogni, PharmD, has an area of expertise in pharmacotherapy, including side effect and financial management of oral oncology. Aside from oncology, Dr. Mignogni has clinical interests in pharmacogenomics, anticoagulation, and their roles in cancer treatment.
She believes in a collaborative, coordinated, and accessible approach to healthcare ensuring to meet patients' goals. “My philosophy to patient care is to provide the patient with the information needed to make educated decisions and to become their best advocates,” she says.
First and foremost, Dr. Mignogni believes it’s imperative that patients feel comfortable during a visit. Patients are usually overwhelmed by their diagnoses and tend not to ask any questions about the medications prescribed. She encourages patients to ask questions to make informed decisions about their care. The best part of her job? Interacting with patients and aiding them in receiving clinically appropriate, cost-effective medications.
Dr. Mignogni’s interests outside of work include spending time at the beach, exercising, and playing with her dog.
