About Me

Kristin A. Caccavale, MBA, MA, NCC, LPC, CCTP, is a member of Summit Health's Behavioral Health and Cognitive Therapy team. Ms. Caccavale is experienced in treating a range of conditions including mood disorders, depression, anxiety, stress and co-occurring disorders. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, she also is trained to work with patients seeking related treatment.

Ms. Caccavale is passionate about mental health, the mind-body connection and a person’s ability to make changes that improve quality of life. She believes therapy begins with her patients and the issues most important to them, and that her priority is making sure patients are heard, validated and empowered in their healing process.

Being part of the healing process is what Ms. Caccavale enjoys most. “Over time, I get to witness patients reclaim agency over their thoughts, emotions and reactions to life,” she said.

In her free time Ms. Caccavale enjoys yoga, travel, painting, music, reading, and time with friends and family.
