Dr. Patel treats the broad spectrum of women’s health across life phases, including menstrual cycle management, preconception and pregnancy. She also counsels patients on nutrition, lifestyle and stress management, and their connection to general health and well-being.
Dr. Patel helps patients identify their goals and actively participate in their treatment plan through open, honest communication. As an osteopathic-trained physician, she treats the body as a whole system and encourages patients to explore environmental impacts on their health.
“Helping patients understand their bodies and how they can help themselves is the cornerstone of my philosophy,” she said.
As the daughter of a general internist, Dr. Patel was inspired at an early age to pursue a career in medicine. Now a mother herself, she carries forward the dedication to community and commitment to care she witnessed as a child.
“Handing a newborn infant to a mother is one of the greatest privileges I have ever known,” Dr. Patel said. “Helping a woman understand her body and gaining autonomy in her health goals is also very rewarding.”
Dr. Patel is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Osteopathic Association. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and exploring new cuisines, traveling, and visiting museums.
