About Me

Timothy Amin, PharmD, BCACP is a clinical pharmacist with expertise in ambulatory care pharmacy: the pharmacotherapy of chronic diseases in an outpatient care setting (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and heart failure).

Dr. Amin’s post-graduate training includes a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ and PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency and Clinical Assistant professorship at Long Island University & The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. He also received a Teaching & Learning Certificate from Rutgers University: Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy in Piscataway, NJ.

Dr. Amin’s patient care philosophy is equipping his patients with the knowledge and skills necessary to be the best self-advocates they can be. During a patient visit, he ensures all questions and concerns are adequately addressed with full accuracy and transparency. He enjoys forming long-lasting, genuine, collaborative relationships with his patients and colleagues.

In his free time, Dr. Amin enjoys singing karaoke, playing board games, hiking, reading, and trying new restaurants and coffee shops. He is also passionate about patient self-advocacy; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and healthcare justice.
