About Me
Christie Racine, MD, is a member of Summit Health’s Family Medicine team. Dr. Racine has wanted to be a physician since she was young and has long felt it was her calling to pursue health care. She recalls her own pediatrician as being kind, pleasant, and always smiling. This positive childhood experience had an influence on her interest in medicine.
Treating adults who have acute and chronic illnesses is Dr. Racine’s expertise, and her depth of experience also extends to urgent care, where she worked as a physician for three years. Her approach to patient care is to “treat patients with kindness, making sure they feel heard, focusing on their concerns and health issues,” she says.
Dr. Racine enjoys being a physician because it allows her to establish relationships with her patients, learn from them, and help them achieve their health goals. She is particularly passionate about women’s health, fitness, and skin care.
When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Racine finds fulfillment by traveling, working out, shopping, and spending time with her family. In addition, she is interested in educating the community about how mental and physical health affect overall health outcomes.
