About Me

Deborah Chua, MD, CSNC is a member of Summit Health’s Gastroenterology team. Dr. Chua’s clinical expertise includes a wide range of gastroenterology conditions, with a particular interest in colon cancer screening, endoscopy, women’s digestive health, acid reflux, obesity, and nutrition-related diseases. She has also completed additional training in clinical nutrition. 

Dr. Chua believes in creating strong doctor-patient relationships. “Open communication and trust are critically valuable to patient care,” she says. “With each patient encounter, I strive to ensure there is a sense of comfortability and that they feel they can open up to me.”  

She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association. 

When not caring for patients, Dr. Chua enjoys spending time with her family and baking.
