Maria Janine Ramdial, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Internal Medicine team. Dr. Ramdial is a board-certified internist skilled and trained to provide primary care and preventive medicine to the adult population. Whether performing routine physical examinations or diagnosing and treating conditions a range of medical conditions, Dr. Ramdial does it all with a focus on patient-centered care. With over a decade of experience in the field, she is able to comfortably refer patients to the proper specialist based on thorough assessment and medical need.
“I have always had a passion for helping people,” she says. “And helping a patient maintain their health so they can live happy and full lives, is extremely rewarding.” Dr. Ramdial believes in forming caring relationships with her patients saying, “Empathy, compassion, kindness, and respect are not only what every person deserves, but they also help patients feel comfortable enough to ask the questions that will benefit their health and well-being.”
When not working, Dr. Ramdial enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking, jogging, listening to a variety of music, cooking, and eating foods from different cultures - the spicier the better! During the summer months, she enjoys landscaping and relaxing at the beach. She loves cars, dogs, and is a huge fan of basketball, track and field, and boxing.
