Dr. Fox says, “People use their hands for different reasons and in different ways. For this reason, I believe it’s important to learn about each patient’s hand function before injury, understand what he or she would like to achieve from surgery and develop a customized treatment plan to achieve the goals.” He adds, “Hand surgery is gratifying because it allows me to offer creative solutions to address each of my patient’s unique needs.”
Dr. Fox is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the Morris County Medical Society, the New York Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society. His research interests include the study of the finger, hand, and elbow carpometacarpal arthritis and treatment, ligament biomechanics and joint kinematics, among others. Dr. Fox is the author of articles and abstracts on these and related topics that are published in prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals, including the Journal of Hand Surgery, the American Journal of Sports Medicine and Knee Surgery, the Sports Traumatology, and Arthroscopy.
