About Me
Steven Papish, MD, FACP, specializes in hematology/oncology, with a particular focus on breast cancer and gynecologic malignancies. In addition to seeing patients at Summit Health, his research focuses on breast cancer, lymphomas, and gynecologic malignancies.
Dr. Papish is Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine, Mt. Sinai School of Medicine; Attending, Department of Medicine, Morristown Medical Center; and a member of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. He is Chairman of the Cancer Committee, Morristown Medical Center, and previously served as Medical Director of the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center at Morristown Medical Center. Dr. Papish has also been the Director of Clinical Research at Morristown Medical Center and Chairman of the Institutional Review Board for clinical research.
Dr. Papish is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Medicine of New Jersey. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, Morris County Medical Society, and Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
Dr. Papish's honors include: "Best Doctors in America," Castle Connolly Guide Top Doctors in NY Metropolitan Area, and New Jersey Monthly's "Top Doctors in New Jersey."
"As a physician, I believe in caring for the whole patient as they experience the disease, and not just treating their disease," says Dr. Papish.
When he is not working with patients, Dr. Papish enjoys photography, skiing and cycling.
