Dr. Sumeet Sandhu, MD is the newest addition to the Summit Health's Allergy and Immunology team. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She completed her residency training in General Pediatrics at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. She completed her fellowship training in Allergy & Immunology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She is board-certified in General Pediatrics and is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), American Academy of Allergy and Immunology (AAAAI), American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI), and New York Allergy and Asthma Society (NYAAS).

Dr. Sandhu manages a variety of allergic and immunologic disorders in children and adults of all ages, including eczema, food allergy, asthma, seasonal and perennial allergies, sinusitis, drug allergies, hives, contact dermatitis. She is committed to working together with patients to provide high-quality evidence-based personalized care.

Dr. Sandhu has completed clinical research projects in Pediatrics and Allergy & Immunology. She has presented at national professional meetings and published in academic peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Sandhu is a native New Yorker. In her free time, she spends time with family and friends and likes to travel.
