Effective July 26, Dr. Ronald Snyder joined Summit Health, the physician-led network formed by the merger between Summit Medical Group, one of the nation’s premier independent multispecialty medical groups, and CityMD, the leading urgent care provider in the New York metropolitan area.
Ronald Snyder, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained, pediatric orthopedic specialist who has practiced in Bergen County for over 20 years. He will now be practicing as part out of the Summit Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team at their 499 Route 17 South, Paramus location.
Dr. Snyder is a pediatric orthopedist with has specialized training to care for acute, chronic, and congenital musculoskeletal conditions in children. He works to understand and treat a child’s underlying musculoskeletal condition based on their motion and strength capacity. Learning about walking development and its analysis also has been foundational in his work. These scientific interests led him to pursue a Master of Science degree in biomechanics and ergonomics at New York University to better understand and treat injuries related to sports performance.
