Season’s greetings! I hope this note finds you in good health, enjoying the holidays with those you care about most.

For many, this time of year is filled with introspection and excitement, and it’s no different for us at Summit Health and CityMD. As our teams intentionally reflect on the past year — our accomplishments and our learnings — we do so with the steadfast commitment to improving as we move forward, and we are truly excited about what’s to come!

It has been our mission to reshape health care through the power of connection, paving the way for healthier, kinder communities in more neighborhoods — from Clifton, N.J., to Fairfield County, Conn., and as far as Central Oregon. And as a matter of course, we delivered care whenever our communities needed it — whether managing the endemic stages of COVID-19, responding to the mpox (formerly monkeypox) outbreak, or treating a surge of patients with RSV and other viruses.

No matter what happens, you can rely on us for any health care needs you may have. Our one care team at Summit Health and CityMD share an ongoing commitment to deliver high-quality care to support you at every step of your care journey. And we’re about to get even stronger.

Looking ahead, Summit Health and CityMD are taking a giant leap forward in our mission to transform the way health care is delivered in even more communities with our anticipated acquisition by VillageMD. Together, we will accelerate growth opportunities by increasing access to and offering a wider network of providers across primary, specialty, and urgent care.

As part of VillageMD, we will remain value-based, patient-centered, and physician-led, and will keep your health and wellness our top priority; however, this new partnership will allow us to further drive better clinical outcomes and cost savings in more communities across the U.S. We can’t wait to share more details soon.

During this time of reflection and gratitude, I want to thank you for entrusting Summit Health and CityMD with your care. Excellent patient care has — and always will be — the cornerstone of our success and our commitment to you.

Have a blessed holiday season and a happy and healthy New Year.
