As of June 2023, the Westmedgroup.com website will move to summithealth.com!

Westmed Medical Group continues to integrate with Summit Health.  Read more about the transition below and learn about the best ways to schedule visits with your providers as we become one care team.

If you are a Westmed patient, please refer to the FAQs below.

As of June 2023, the Summit Health website is your new destination. We have created a hub for Westmed patients on summithealth.com that houses all the information you need for care including links to:

  • Find a provider
  • Access the patient portal
  • Make an online appointment
  • Visit urgent care
  • Request medical records

There are two ways to make an appointment with your Westmed care team. You can:

  • Call your practice on the phone the same way you always have.
  • Schedule an appointment online using the Summit Health website.

Yes, there will be no change to your care team. You can still see the same doctors you know and trust, at the same convenient locations. The only change is that you will now use the Summit Health website to schedule appointments online or view your doctor’s profile.

Westmed patients still have access and can use the same Athena portal.  Patients do NOT need to create a new portal account and can log into the portal using the same credentials.

Yes, the MyWestmed patient app will be discontinued. You can tell patients to remove the app from their devices. There is no replacement app to download at this time. Once the Westmed website application is discontinued, patients should visit the summithealth.com site directly to find a provider, locate nearby offices, and schedule an appointment online.

We always recommend you verify that the location and physician you are seeing participate with your health plan. You can view accepted health plans on the Summit Health website.

There are no immediate changes to the billing process. Westmed patients can continue to access statements and pay bills using the online and mobile bill pay portal.

At any point, if you would like to opt out of email or SMS bill-pay messages, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email or text "STOP" to opt out and receive paper statements. If you have a question about your bill, please call (914) 681-3110.

Westmed patients can still access their medical records by using the online medical request form. More information about how Westmed patients can access Authorization to Release Medical Records forms will be available on the Summit Health website.
