About Me

Eunhee Shih, MD is a member of the Summit Health Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine team. Dr. Shih pursued a career as a pediatrician to help others and apply her interest in child development, providing her with a sense of fulfillment and purpose. She enjoys developing long-term relationships with her patients and their families, caring for patients from infancy to young adulthood.

Throughout her 20 years of experience, Dr. Shih’s special clinical interests include providing breastfeeding support to mothers. Her philosophy on patient care focuses on an “interest in how the mind and body interact to affect health and wellness. I would like to promote mental and physical health through a blend of traditional medicine and a holistic approach”, she says.

Most important to Dr. Shih during a patient visit is to treat every individual uniquely, discovering, nurturing, and appreciating each person for their special characteristics. She wants each child and family she cares for to feel supported and important. Additionally, she enjoys getting to know her patients and their families, meeting new people and developing and growing her relationships with families.

Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Shih enjoys running, hiking, and kickboxing. She also loves fine art, music, food and travel. Further, she is interested in promoting mental health awareness and support and would like to educate the importance of mindfulness, nutrition, healthy habits, and personal relationships in promoting mind and body health.
