About Me
Hee Jin Koh, MD is a dermatologist with expertise in the management and treatment of skin conditions and diseases. In addition to her training at Mount Sinai, NYC, Dr. Koh was also trained as a sub-investigator in numerous dermatology clinical trials. With a broad interest in general and cosmetic dermatology, her focus areas include psoriasis, acne, atopic dermatitis, alopecia areata, hidradenitis suppurative, vitiligo and beyond.
Cosmetic rejuvenation is also part of Dr. Koh’s practice, including the use of botulinum toxin, fillers, chemical peels, PRP and lasers. She is also interested in cosmeceuticals, the impact and role of social media on dermatology, and technological advances in medicine.
“I believe that we as physicians need to listen more to patients and really understand what concerns them. That really helps identify what treatment or combination of treatments would benefit the patient most”, she says. Dr. Koh wants her patients to feel welcome and comfortable and the entire office team should be attentive and efficient.
She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, combining her skills ranging from visual physical assessment, minor procedures, lasers and more. Her passion involves helping others, with a future plan to educate other doctors in underdeveloped countries about dermatology.
When not seeing patients Dr. Koh enjoys trying new restaurants or seeing movies with her husband.
