Joseph Batac, MD, FACS is a member of Summit Health’s Plastic Surgery team. Dr. Batac was drawn to a career in healthcare at a young age, fascinated by the prospect of positively impacting people's lives through medicine. 

Dr. Batac performs aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery as well as orthopedic surgery of the hand. He specializes in aesthetic surgical and non-surgical interventions for the face, breast, and body. He is also skilled in skin cancer reconstruction, breast cancer reconstruction, and body contouring after weight loss surgery. In the realm of hand surgery, he treats bony fractures, tendon injuries, and nerve issues such as carpal tunnel syndrome.

Dr. Batac's philosophy is to create a patient-centered, holistic experience. He strives to provide first-class, personalized care to all his patients.
