Dr. Dent currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Summit Health (formerly Westmed Medical Group). She specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breasts and body, working with both adult and pediatric patients.

Dr. Dent received her bachelor of arts degree summa cum laude in classical archaeology from Dartmouth College, where she was admitted to the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She was then awarded her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

She completed her plastic surgery residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine and Columbia University Medical Center.

In addition to English, Dr. Dent is also fluent in French.
