Rebecca Friess, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Allergy and Immunology team. Dr. Friess is experienced in working with adults and children and treating conditions including allergic diseases (e.g. seasonal, animal, food, and medication allergies), asthma, eczema, and hives. She is skilled in performing procedures and interpreting diagnostic testing for food allergies and challenges, as well as medication challenges.
Dr. Friess works to not only treat a patient’s symptoms, but also identify their causes so that a care plan can guide management and prevention effectively. While helping a patient feel better is a goal, Dr. Friess also prioritizes a patient’s understanding of their care and their sense of empowerment in managing their health moving forward.
What Dr. Friess enjoys most about her work is what led her to pursue her career in health care: the opportunity to build relationships with people, help them understand their health journey and improve their quality of life.
In her free time Dr. Friess enjoys reading, gardening, and exploring local parks with her family.
