About Me
Prior to joining Summit Health, Susan A. Angelicola (formerly Peck), MSN, APN, was a women's health nurse practitioner and Director of the HPV Education and Vaccine Service at Rutgers, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Ms. Angelicola previously served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses and is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health. She is an active lecturer on many women's health topics and presents regularly at local, state and national conferences. She is a published author and editor/reviewer for gynecologic and obstetric nursing journals and book chapter in textbooks and reference guides.
Ms. Angelicola has dedicated her professional career to advocating and caring for women in all stages of their lives. Her practice philosophy is very simple: treat others as you would want and expect to be treated. Her clinical interests include contraception including long acting contraception such as IUD insertions, vaginitis, health promotion and prevention of chronic disease, and treatment of low bone mass/osteoporosis. She also enjoys caring for women during their pregnancy and feels privileged to be a part of a family's childbearing journey.
When she is not caring for her patients, Ms. Angelicola enjoys reading, exercise, travel and spending time with her husband, family and friends. If it is football season, she can be found cheering for the NY Giants.
