About Me
Tony Di Stefano, MS, DPM, FACFAS, is a member of Summit Health’s Podiatry team. Dr. Di Stefano specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery including flat foot surgery, foot and ankle fractures and ankle stabilization procedures. Additionally, Dr. Di Stefano has expertise in sports medicine as related to sports injuries, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, sprains and lateral ankle instability.
Prior to joining Summit Health in 2015, Dr. Di Stefano practiced with Foot and Ankle Care Associates, LLC for 14 years.
Dr. Di Stefano is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society. Dr. Di Stefano is proud to have volunteered as a reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon for the New Jersey chapter of Healing the Children, a medical mission in Guatemala. He has also previously volunteered as a member of the podiatry support teams for the Boston Marathon, Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C. and the Philadelphia Distance Run.
Dr. Di Stefano is a recipient of the Drexel University Community Service Award for his volunteer work in area hospitals. During medical school, he was a Bates Memorial Scholar and a Derr Memorial Scholar.
Dr. Di Stefano recognizes how chronic pain affects the quality of life. He believes in treating the whole body and makes it his personal mission to make his patients’ pain-free. “I will do my best to offer you my years of experience and training to nurse you back to health in a caring and healthy environment. My goal is to get you back to your life, work and family.”
When he is not working with his patients at Summit Health, Dr. Di Stefano enjoys spending time with his family, playing hockey, cycling, hiking and camping.
Dr. Di Stefano was selected as one of the Best of the Best Podiatrists in the 2018 Courier News 21st annual Reader’s Choice competition.
