
Tim Barry
Co-Founder, CEO and Board Chair
Tim has spent his career creating and providing solutions to help providers bring a different level of care and support to their patients in a variety of experiences including running an IPA, a $3B Medicare Advantage plan, and a Population Health business. His favorite part about coming to work is spending time with the physician partners at the center of our model, and seeing where real healthcare change happens. Outside of work, you can often find Tim at one of his children’s events and enjoying time with his wife and kids.

Dr. Clive Fields
Co-Founder
As co-founder of VillageMD and an esteemed practicing physician, Dr. Fields is transforming the way patients and physicians experience health care. In the early 1990s, prior to beginning VillageMD, Fields initiated and served as president of Village Family Practice, which became one of the largest primary care groups in Houston and was recognized for its quality of care by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). An avid golfer and reader who enjoys family time with his wife and 3 children, Fields was named to Modern Healthcare’s 2020 List of the 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives.

Paul Martino
Co-Founder
A 30-year veteran of the healthcare industry, Paul has driven growth and fostered innovation as a health plan executive. Prior to VillageMD, he was Senior Vice President of Clinical Strategy and Innovation at Anthem/WellPoint, where he was instrumental in architecting Anthem’s payment innovation strategy, developing its Patient Centered Primary Care model, and establishing value-based contracts with Anthem’s primary care physician network. When he isn’t negotiating for a better healthcare system around the country, you can find Paul spending time with his family, traveling for pleasure, or coaching his son’s little-league team.

Anthony Viceroy
Chief Operating Officer
Anthony Viceroy is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of VillageMD. For nearly a decade, Viceroy’s leadership and vision have expanded access to high-quality primary, specialty, and urgent care for millions of patients throughout the country. In his current position, Viceroy leads VillageMD’s operational strategy focusing on growth, operational efficiency and value creation through a connected care delivery model.
VillageMD offers high-quality, accessible health care services for individuals and communities across the United States, with primary, multi-specialty, and urgent care providers serving patients in traditional practice settings, in patients’ homes and telehealth appointments. Committed to serving all patients and working with all payers, VillageMD consistently innovates value-based care, bringing integrated applications, population insights, and staffing expertise to its owned and affiliate practices, ensuring high-quality care, better patient outcomes, and a reduction in the total cost of care. Through Village Medical, Village Medical at Home, Summit Health, CityMD, and other practices, VillageMD serves 8 million patients throughout their lives, wherever and whenever they need care. With its dedicated workforce of more than 20,000, VillageMD currently operates from 770 practice locations in 26 markets.
Before joining VillageMD, Viceroy served as President and COO of Summit Health and CityMD, a leading provider of primary, specialty, and urgent care, from 2021 to 2023. VillageMD acquired Summit Health and CityMD in January 2023.
Summit Health is one of the largest health care delivery organizations in the country and was formed by the integration of Summit Medical Group, CityMD, Westmed Medical Group, and New Jersey Urology. In 2021, Viceroy led all aspects of the sale of Westmed Medical Group to Summit Health.
From 2015 through 2021, Viceroy served as CEO of Westmed Medical Group, an award-winning multispecialty health care organization, comprised of 500 providers with more than 1,500 employees caring for 350,000 patients throughout Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT. Under Viceroy’s leadership, Westmed was prominently featured by the American Medical Group Association (AMGA), Fortune magazine and Great Places To Work.
Before assuming the position of CEO at Westmed Medical Group in 2015, Viceroy was President of Westmed Practice Partners (WPP), a management services organization. In that role, he directly oversaw all health care management services and was integral in completing the sale of WPP to Optum in 2014.
Prior to joining Westmed, Viceroy spent 10 years in various leadership roles at Omnicom Group, a Fortune 200 global marketing and communications organization where he worked with global brands like HP, PepsiCo, McDonald’s, P&G, and Johnson & Johnson. Viceroy also served as North American treasurer of the Danish biopharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk.
Viceroy earned his MBA in global management and corporate finance from Fordham University, and his BBA in public accounting from Iona College. He holds an executive certificate from Cornell University in Health Care Leadership. He is a certified public accountant and a charted global management accountant.
Viceroy is a member of the Board of Advisors for New York Medical College and a trustee for Manhattanville College. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Westchester County Association and the Bedford Physicians Risk Retention Group. He is also a CEO Council Member of the American Medical Group Association (AMGA) and a member representative of the Northeast Business Group on Health. Viceroy has been recognized as a health care leader by Crain’s New York Business and by City & State New York’s Power 100 as influencing care in Westchester County and New York State.

Ellen Dalton
Chief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer, Ellen brings 25 years of experience leading results-driven business-to-business and direct-to-consumer marketing for healthcare and consumer brands. Prior to VillageMD, she was Chief Marketing & Experience Officer at Medecision, a provider of digital health management software and services. In that role, she led enterprise customer experience, brand activation, marketing and innovation programming, and alliances and helped lead that organization’s turnaround and re-emergence as a leading brand in the healthcare information technology sector. Before Medecision, Ellen was the founder and principal of a boutique marketing firm.

Rich Rubino
Chief Financial Officer
Richard J. Rubino is CFO of VillageMD. He was most recently CFO of Cedar Gate Technologies, Inc, a value-based care enablement enterprise that provides analytics, capitation, population health and prospective bundles solutions for payers, providers and self-insured employers. He previously served as CFO of Aerie Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Medco Health Solutions, Inc. He was CFO of Medco when they merged with Express Scripts, Inc. in a transaction valued at approximately $30 billion. Rubino has consistently had oversight responsibility for all financial activities, including strategic planning, financial planning, accounting, external financial reporting, treasury and tax, procurement, internal audit, investor relations and business development. Rubino is an inactive Certified Public Accountant and received his B.S. in Accounting from Manhattan College.

Rebecca Levy, Esq.
Chief Legal Officer
Rebecca (Becky) Levy is the Chief Legal Officer for VillageMD. She previously joined Summit Health in 2011 and has held a number of titles including, most recently, Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel. Becky has significant experience developing, managing, and motivating legal and business teams through collaborative, cross-functional relationships. In addition, she has served as Founder and Board President of Summit Health Cares — the company’s charitable foundation — since 2013. Prior to joining Summit Health, Becky practiced health care law at firms dedicated to providing legal representation to physicians, medical practices, hospitals, surgery centers, and other health care providers.

Dr. Stuart Levine
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Stuart Levine is the Chief Medical Officer. In this position, Dr. Levine is responsible for architecting and delivering on the next generation value-based care delivery model of VillageMD. Dr. Levine joined VillageMD from Chicago Pacific Founders, where he served as an operating partner, specializing in care model innovation. He has served on the board of numerous healthcare start-ups. Dr. Levine is also the co-founder and former Chief Medical and Innovation Officer of agilon health. He currently is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) since 1992 and a resident expert on population health. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at Stanford University’s School of Medicine.

Amy Smith
Chief Human Resources Officer
Amy Smith joins VillageMD as Chief Human Resources Officer with 25 years of experience in Human Resources and Operations leadership. She leads all facets of Human Resources and Talent and has an extensive background in developing innovative strategies focused on culture, experience, professional development, and DEIB — always with an eye toward having inspiring workplaces that attract the best talent and where existing team members feel valued and motivated to grow with the company. Previously, Amy held key leadership roles in HR and Operations with Anthem, ADP, and Equifax. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, working in her garden, and playing the bass guitar.

Mark Vainisi
Executive Vice President, Corporate Development & Strategy
Mark is an executive vice president at VillageMD, leading the organization’s growth and strategy to transform the way healthcare is delivered in the U.S. Previously, Mark was Senior Vice President, Global M&A, for Walgreens Boots Alliance (NASDAQ: WBA), a global leader in retail and wholesale pharmacy operating primarily under the Walgreens, Boots and Alliance Healthcare brands. Mark led all corporate development activities for WBA and manages WBA’s significant portfolio of pharmacy and healthcare investments. Mark currently serves on the boards of Option Care Health, Shields Health Solutions, and iA, a pharmacy automation company. Mark previously worked for the Tribune Company and law firm Sidley Austin. He graduated from the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan Law School.
