Migraine is the third most common illness in the world. While many experience attacks only once or twice a month, over 4 million people suffer from chronic daily migraine, an extremely debilitating condition that involves severe, recurring headaches along with other symptoms. In this short video, Summit Health Pediatric and Sports Neurologist Dr. Matthew McCarthy explains the difference between headaches and migraines, explains severity and symptoms, and offers ways to reduce frequency and severity to improve overall quality of life.
