Dear Patients,
As we welcome the fall season, we are also reflecting on a year of meaningful change at Summit Health — and a renewed focus on making your experience better.
Over the past several months, we’ve taken a hard look at how we serve you, and we know there are areas where we can do better. There is nothing more valuable to us than the feedback we receive from our patients, and we’re taking it seriously. From scheduling and appointment availability to communication with our offices and navigating your care, we’re committed to making meaningful changes to improve the moments that matter most.
This year, access has been one of our biggest areas of focus. We’ve made some major updates to our website to improve the way patients can find and book appointments online with their care teams across specialties. This includes a new scheduling platform that is helping us connect patients with the right provider and related services, making it easier and faster for you to get the right care.
We’re also growing. Twenty new physicians are joining our practice in the coming weeks, allowing us to expand care in the communities we serve. In November, we also look forward to opening our new Livingston multispecialty center at 39 W. Northfield Road, bringing a wide range of specialists and services together in one convenient location. These investments are helping us make care easier to access, more connected and closer to home.
And we are just getting started. Our team is proud of the progress we’ve made in such a short time but there is still work to do to make your patient experience better. In our next quarterly newsletter, I look forward to sharing more progress we have made towards this goal.
In our fall newsletter, you’ll find helpful health information, meet some of our newest physicians and learn more about the ways we’re continuing to grow and improve — with you at the center of it all.
With gratitude,
Dr. Jeff
