About Me
Randy Cohen, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Cardiology team. Dr. Cohen practices general cardiology with an emphasis on prevention and early detection of cardiovascular disease in at-risk individuals. An advanced lipid specialist, he is board-certified in clinical lipidology and treats patients with complex lipid disorders, as well.
Dr. Cohen evaluates all factors of cardiovascular health, including those biological and psychosocial, in working with his patients. He prioritizes relationship-building, which he believes strengthens a partnered effort to reduce disease risk and improve health. While improved cardiovascular health and wellness is a rewarding part of Dr. Cohen’s work, so is his opportunity to educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and their long-term impact.
In his spare time Dr. Cohen enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, traveling and being one of the New York Mets’ biggest fans. He also has a passion for nutrition and how it can influence health and disease in individuals of all ages.
