About Me
KarLeung Siu, MD is part of Summit Health’s Oncology/Hematology team. Dr. KarLeung Siu provides patients with access to expert cancer care through expertise in diagnosis and treatment of various cancers. He is especially skilled in treating lung and head/neck cancers, an area of great focus for him during his early years of practice and previous training. In addition to specializing in thoracic malignancies, Dr. Siu has a strong interest in hematologic disorders, including lymphomas and leukemias.
“No one chooses to be sick. I pursue health care to empower people to battle their illness while standing behind them throughout their fight,” says Dr. Siu.
Prior to joining Summit Health, Dr. Siu acted as Attending and Chief of Medical Oncology and Hematology at an accredited, not-for-profit health care facility. In addition, over the years he has been afforded the great opportunity of participating in several lung cancer studies and continues to participate in studies which will help advance treatment options for patients.
Dr. Siu belongs to the American Society of Clinical Oncology and serves on the Hoosier Cancer Research Network Thoracic Clinical Trial Working Group. He is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Spanish.
