Kelley Considine, DO is a member of Summit Health’s Internal Medicine team. Dr. Considine provides primary care including wellness physicals, health screenings, vaccinations, and sick visits. She also treats patients experiencing chronic conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes.

In addition, Dr. Considine collaborates with specialists when patients need additional care. “As a primary care physician, I am the patient’s home base,” she says. “It’s my job to make sure that all providers on a patient’s treatment team are on the same page.”

Dr. Considine also collaborates with her patients, discussing individual needs and goals to develop care plans together. She takes pride in connecting with her patients, both personally and to recognize where she can be a resource. “It’s really important to get that 360-degree view,” she says.

Dr. Considine has always wanted to be a physician and credits her father as an inspiration. “I saw from a young age how, as a physician, you have the opportunity to be part of people’s lives and the community in a special way,” she says. She adds that her patients are the most special part of her work, saying, “I’ve been blessed thus far in my career with having incredible patients who inspire me every day.”

When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Considine enjoys skiing, baking, and doing puzzles.
