Marla Guzman, MD, FAAP, is a member of Summit Health’s Pediatric Rheumatology department. Dr. Guzman works with children and adolescents who are afflicted with autoimmune or autoinflammatory conditions. She has additional specialty training in intra-articular corticosteroid injections.
 
Dr. Guzman uses a team-based approach to patient care, working with general pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists. She utilizes her extensive knowledge to educate patients and their families about diagnosis, treatments, outcomes, and available resources. Her passion for her practice helps her “empower children with autoimmune and autoinflammatory conditions to live happy, healthy, normal lives.”
 
Dr. Guzman is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Rheumatology, and the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance. She has served as an Executive Committee member in the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Rheumatology. She has also co-authored several journal articles on multiple topics, including childhood-onset lupus and presented her research at national conferences.  
 
When not in the office with patients, Dr. Guzman enjoys hiking and cycling, traveling, and eating new cuisines.
