About Me

Meredith S. Perrone, MSW, LCSW, also previously known as Meredith Shufeld, is a Oncology Social Worker with Summit Health. She is a member of the Behavioral Health and Cognitive Therapy team, and supports patients in the Oncology and Surgical Oncology departments. Previously, she worked in a similar capacity at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, NY.

Ms. Perrone works with patients to provide supportive counseling and crisis interventions for patients, caregivers, and family members to address the needs and concerns that arise during the treatment of cancer.
