About Me

Michael Kirk, DO is a family medicine physician who treats a multitude of conditions. Dr. Kirk is certified in osteopathic manipulative therapy and co-authored a scientific paper regarding the effects of environmental substances on placental tissues. He is also a member of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice.

As a survivor of childhood cancer, Dr. Kirk “vowed to one day take care of patients just as my doctors took care of me.” In his practice, he now strives to treat patients with the same care as he would hope to receive and he aims to be as thorough as possible in answering all patient questions.

Dr. Kirk places great emphasis on educating the community about the dangers of smoking and the importance of daily exercise. Such simple steps can provide a huge impact on one’s health and wellness. He is passionate about the affordability of medications and the community’s access to them.

Dr. Kirk enjoys getting to know about patients’ lives and families. Outside of his career, he enjoys playing piano and is interested in aviation.
