Dr. Loganathan is also an accomplished researcher and has presented several peer reviewed abstracts at national meetings and authored articles in the field of asthma and lung cancer.
Dr. Loganathan’s areas of clinical interests include airway diseases like asthma and COPD, gender differences in lung disease, screening and diagnosis of lung cancer, interstitial/ inflammatory lung disease and smoking cessation.
“Patient centered care” and “personalized medicine” are two principles that drive Dr. Loganathan’s philosophy of medicine. He says, “chronic pulmonary conditions like asthma should not control the patient, rather the patient should be able manage them effectively with the aid of their physician”. He strongly believes that communication and easy accessibility to clinical care through modern day technology will drive compassionate care and satisfaction among his patients.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Loganathan enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking (multi-cultural Indian cuisine), biking, and listening to music.
