About Me

Rohit Oza, MD is a physiatrist, practicing with Summit Health. Dr. Oza is board-certified in pain management and specializes in the non-operative treatment of the spine. His primary focus is on a conservative treatment plan, based on a comprehensive and detailed therapy program. He specializes in interventional pain procedures and injections to treat complex spinal conditions that may not respond to therapy-based strategies and uses fluoroscopic-guided injections in the spine to treat pain associated with herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and facet joint arthritis. Additionally, Dr. Oza has developed a special interest in chronic lower back pain and utilization of radiofrequency ablation as a strategy to provide long-term relief for the condition.

Dr. Oza trained in pain management at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. While gaining additional training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, he had the opportunity to work at the world-famous Rothman Institute. Dr. Oza spent elective time with leaders and pioneers in the field to learn the best injection techniques. He continues to be actively involved in the Spine Intervention Society and has taken various spinal courses to stay up-to-date on the latest research and injection techniques in order to provide the best care to his patients.

When he is not working, Dr. Oza enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hiking, jogging and organic gardening.
