Shoulder and elbow conditions are some of the most common causes of chronic pain in the United States. A 2014 study published in BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders suggests that more than 529,000 rotator cuff repairs and shoulder arthroscopies were performed during the study period. Although the incidence of some elbow conditions are on the decline, between 1 and 3 percent of the population has suffered from tennis elbow alone, not to mention other elbow conditions.

The shoulder and the elbow are complex joints. They are subject to wear and tear since they are moved dozens or even hundreds of times a day. That’s why, when something goes wrong, you need a team of specialists completely focused on conditions of the shoulder and elbow. You’ll find those experts at Summit Health.

Our shoulder and elbow orthopedists are on the forefront of the most innovative surgical and nonsurgical methods of treatment. They are able to leverage the outstanding experts within Summit Health’s other specialties—including acupuncturists, massage therapists and physical therapists—to bring a true multidisciplinary approach to your care.

We know that shoulder and elbow pain can severely limit your life but you don’t have to live in pain. Click here to schedule a consultation with one of our shoulder and elbow specialists.
